Modern
design - Robustness - Ease of use
- Low running costs - good performances
- General transmission is by means of helical gear reduction and a single oversized chain
- A friction overrunning clutch and four safety bolts are an ideal protection against overloading for the gear reduction, plunger, forks, knotters and needles.
- Automatic belt and chain idlers means longer life for the transmissions, and less maintenance work.
- A counterweighted crank and large-diameter flywheel give greater stability working when the machine is running, even at more then 90 strokes per minute.
- The plunger, with its two sides cold forged into a single piece is extremely robust, and runs on a series of 10 pre-lubricated bearings.
- The floating pick-up is balanced by two springs, and operated by a V-belt
- The knotters ( both twine and wire ) use parts Rasspe to make changing and finding them easier, but they also have built-in characteristics which make mistakes almost impossible. The needles are made of pressed sheet steel, are very light, and are extremely easy to set.
- The quality of bales, whether straw or forage, and whatever length and compactness, is fail-proof thanks to the wide range of setting for the forks.
- The flywheel and other moving parts are completely protected by shields.
- All machines are supplied with upper and lower pressers, both mobile and with independent or overall controls.
- Maximum harvesting width respect to the dimension.
