mod. ATX 2000 L
mod. ATX 2000 C

Technical description
The model ATX 2000 thresher has been designed to contribute to the mechanisation of cereal and other seed plant harvesting in areas where the introduction of the combine harvester has been slowed down or stopped by economic, environmental, or cultural factors, reasons, and needs. The technology of the ATX 2000 (highly appropriate for the economic, functional, and simplicity requirements of those areas) is the result of 70 years' specialist experience, and is characterised by:

  • parts which perform all the functions of a modern threshing machine;
  • production levels and running costs which keep harvesting costs at about one third of manual, and no more than 10% of product costs;
  • 30/40-fold increase in manpower value;
  • possibility of manufacture in developing countries using conventional "labour-intensive" technology;
  • possibility of working on uneven land without the need for levelling;
  • operating versatility obtained via simple methods;
  • absence of alternating moving parts;
  • reduced number of parts; maintenance using normal tools;
  • weight and size less than half of conventional machines with the same characteristics.

The basic ATX 2000 L (long straw) model comprises 5 units:

  1. load-bearing carriage, single axle, two tyres, drawbar;
  2. power bench and barred conveyor belt duct;
  3. "axial flow" drum, with settable bar concave;
  4. axial flow rotating cleaner;
  5. sack-filler with two outputs.

The ATX 2000 C (short straw) version also has a straw cutting-crushing unit, which produces ideal animal feed straw.

Drive can come from the power take-off of a tractor.

Threshing capacity: 1,0-1,3 hectares/hour harvested cereal.
